| From 1 April 2008 the Council, along with partners that work with these groups, officially join together to further co-ordinate services and improve accessibility for their users. Purpose of the Trust A Children and Families Trust brings together all services for children and young people in an area underpinned by the Children Act 2004, section 10 duty to co-operate, to improve the well-being of all children and young people. They are improving children and young people's - aspiration & achievement - health & well being
Our aims... 1. That Hillingdon children, young people and their families (service users, residents, pupils and patients) experience improved services.
2. To support practitioners working in their constituent agencies to see themselves (and also act) as part of a community of Hillingdon children's workers, interconnected with others, and able to see their role in the wide range of provision and services. .
Our vision... 'A commitment by all organisations to encourage children, young people and their families in Hillingdon to reach their full potential through co-ordinated services' A key priority for the Hillingdon Children & Families Trust is to improve the well-being of disadvantaged children and to narrow the gap with their peers, through improving their ouctome (as listed above).
